Southbound
Southbound, there is a lot of blue.
From deep space blue to shades of water and sky.
Sometimes the shades of blue are blurred.
There are palm trees of all kind.
Bigger ones and smaller ones in pots.
It’s the same with bars: sometimes they’re bigger, sometime smaller.
Occasionally, we’re finding one, or two.
It’s important to have a cool refreshment from time to time.
But better avoid to drive afterwards.
Because the streets can get quite narrow.
Also better avoid games with sticks.
Instead enjoy the sun at noon.
Some businesses are harder than others.
It seems.
Trying to phone home occasionally.
If the wires are willing.
Watching the sun go down form high above.
And the last light at the sea.
Enjoying the World Cup final and the party in the streets.
And admiring the coming generation of World Champions.
