A Week’s Links
- Portraits of Power by Platon in The New Yorker. Platon photographed world leaders at a meeting of the United Nations. He set up a tiny studio off the floor of the General Assembly. The portraits are presented together with a spoken audio comment by Platon. I was surprised to learn that he is using film with a super wide angle Hasselblad SWC.
- Artists work their portraits: Destroy by Rankin. More than 70 of the world’s biggest musicians and artists create artwork out of their original Rankin portraits.
- The website is down – the life of an IT guy.
- Create time lapse movies with the iPhone
- Looking for a holiday gift? What about an original lumilon fine art print?
