How can a small island make you feel like being in a desert? The dusty and bumpy road along the west shore seems endless as we drive southbound from El Cotillo. Our car has almost 200’000 km on its mileage meter and makes tortured sounds.

Feliz Año Nuevo!
Happy new year! Just returned from Fuerteventura – paradise! I arrived at home in Switzerland at midnight. It’s about 30°C colder than there. What a shock, and not only temperature-wise… I have some gigabytes of photos to edit and quite a few rolls of film to scan.
